This ticket is a follow up of discussions in Infra pagure and after that in the Council pagure. Basically the Infra team has concerns with setting user accounts as inactive/disabled (as per ambassadors rules) without any project-wide policy. The reason is that a subgroup, as ambassadors, should not be able to request an overall FAS ID disabling, just because the subgroup has a rule for that. A project-wide rule should solve that, and the Council will consider if such a rule is necessary or not. As outcome of both discussions mentioned above, we have been adviced to handle the inactive ambassadors by removing them from the FAS group.
Just for the record, the actual process works like this:
I think that users who don't do anything within Fedora world for 1 and a half year can be considered as inactive, even if they are ambassadors and don't contribute technically. Ambassadors should keep themself up to date, and it is necessary to look into our systems, MLs or whatever to get the latest informations and features. Ambassadors are the voice of Fedora and are the first persons users talk to during events. I'd like to propose this change:
Doing this we will resolve also the not working automatic process, which should remove ambassadors from the FAS group after 2 years (18 months + 6 months of inactivitiy).
I would like to get feedback about this and discuss it in the next meeting.

I find this proposal quite sensible. Although I see the concerns, I still think this is a change for better.
I'm +1 to your proposal @robyduck
+1 also from me...
