Thanks for this. Sorry for the confusion:

Here "kick" is the right word---since we're saying that we're not "kicking someone out of the community". (stressing on the fact that we're not rudely kicking/banning people at all).

When we want to check with people if they're still active, they need to be pinged/nudged/poked. (not removing from group/community, but pinging them for a status update to see if they're active)

If someone needs to be removed from a group, we will "remove membership". For welcome to fedora, we'll "close ticket as inactive".
