#219 Share your game achievements
Closed: published by rlengland. Opened by rlengland.

Article Summary:
Learn how to enable the new Gamerzilla gnome shell extension. With it you can upload your achievements in open soource games.

Article Description:
Previously I did an article on setting up a Gamerzilla server and using a command line tool to communicate with it. Gamerzilla has advanced since then. I maintain an instance that allows new registration. In addition to the previous .NET web implementation, Gamerzilla now supports php and python.

The gnome shell extension allows you automatically setup the communication with the Gamerzilla server without resorting to the command line. There are now multiple games included with Fedora that have Gamerzilla support.

@dulsi Thanks for the update. We'll review/edit and aim for a 22 September publication date, but can you let us know that the updates have been released? We'll hold the publication until we hear from you. That will save the readers any confusion if there is a release slip.

Thanks again.

@dulsi Your article says:

Click on the controller icon and select preferences. On the resulting screen enter your gamerzilla url including the trailing slash.

Where does the url reference come from? I'm not a gamerzilla user or even a gamer. Does this need further explanation?

Added a link in the public server section to go to my gamerzilla instance. Added information after the sentence you mentioned with what the url should be if using my server. Does that make it clearer?
