#45 [main] Doc issue in file releases/modules/ROOT/pages/index.adoc
Closed by amoloney. Opened by jdbarnes-isi.

Could I request that an automated table of some sort get built for supported/maintained releases with start/maintained/supported/eol dates in a small table similar to Table 1 here: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/releases/eol/ ?

I keep looking for dates like Ubuntu has in their table, and it's somewhat inconvenient to have to dig for anything substantial when looking for Fedora release and support dates. Is it possible to do this in an automated way so the data is populated when the releases are changed/updated in these docs?

The tooling does not easily support this. If it did, I'd have made that change because I didn't want to have to update several different places on release and EOL days.

As the tooling has not changed (yet, maybe in 2026) and this request is over 2 years old with no resolution possible at this time, closing this request for now.

I find endoflife.date very useful to to get release and eol data, for all kinds of software (and some hardware) products. The data for Fedora has always been accurate in my experience, I'm cross checking it by a script every now and then, especially when there is a new release or when an end of life is announced.
