#1319 Ownership change / inactive maintainer
Closed Opened by krege.

There is an issue with future brunching of F21. My package (rasmol ![1]) is depended on package !NearTree ![2] wich is broken for F21. Latest build of !NearTree maintainer (FAS name tmatsuu) was in September 2012 ![3]. Anyway, I wrote him to email mentioned in FAS. There was no responce.

As branching of F21 is too close, there is no oppotunity to finish standart procedure according "Non-responsive Maintainer Policy" without packages been dropped.

At this situation, I would like to take ownership of !NearTree package to prepare it fore F21. Or at least commit rights for the same purpose with following procedure through "Non-responsive Maintainer Policy".

File a bug against the package

I think, it is a proper bugreport: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1105916. Actualy, almost 3 weeks passed (one "ping" missed, but in this case it does not matter, one added). Still not enought time packages not to be dropped from F21.

!NearTree is built for rawhide/F21 for now. Standart procedure according "Non-responsive Maintainer Policy" could be applied. Request dropped.
