Hello,

I would like to apply for membership in the provenpackagers group.

I am one of the maintainers of python and python3 in Fedora and also (co)-maintaining various other packages

The main reason for applying is deploying Python 3.6 in rawhide (ticket 1642). While this task requires a lot of work and commitment to pull off, it won't be possible without provenpackager access.

Also any change to python or python3 might affect a vast amount of packages and in order to fix or recover from any issues fast, provenpackager access is really a necessity when maintainers do not respond in a timely manner (if at all).

Therefore I request provenpackager access, in order to be able to make the necessary changes to packages, when it is required.

(as an observer:) I'd love Fedora to have python3.6 first, and this certainly is going to help.
