Rationale:
The "Desktop" live image actually contains only one desktop environment, namely GNOME. The name should reflect this. The current naming misleads users into either thinking GNOME is the only available desktop environment in Fedora or thinking the image also provides the other options. Just as the KDE live image is called "KDE Live" and presented as "KDE Desktop Edition" on the download page, the GNOME live image should be called "GNOME Live", not "Desktop Live" nor just "Live", and presented on the download page as "GNOME Desktop Edition", not "Desktop Edition".
I know that the GNOME being shipped is not a 100% pure GNOME, but the only noticeable difference is that the default browser is Firefox, not Epiphany. So this image is very clearly based on GNOME. And realistically speaking, I doubt there will ever be a purer GNOME image, as it doesn't make sense to ship another GNOME image just to replace the default browser, it'd just confuse users. So I don't see having GNOME in the name as being misleading at all, unlike the current name.
