I would like to request a one-time exception for python-manatools across all Fedora branches.
python-manatools
This is required to update manafirewall and dnfdragora to current versions that work with firewalld and dnf5daemon properly respectively. While manafirewall isn't used on any Fedora deliverable currently, dnfdragora is at least shipped on Fedora LXQt.
manafirewall
dnfdragora
The main reason for the incompatible update request is that python-manatools replaces the dead libyui and libyui-mga libraries with built-in backends for Qt 6 and GTK 4. Small API changes were required as part of that transition.
libyui
libyui-mga
I've prepared a temporary COPR to evaluate the package: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/ngompa/manatools0.99/
I believe the scope is very small and it should be very safe to allow this exception.
+1 from me
Looks reasonable. I can confirm that dnfdragora and manafirewall are the only dependent packages. And if they are currently broken and the updates proposed here would fix them, that's good enough of a reason to do this for me. +1

This will be fixed with 2.99.3.
Assuming I'm counting correctly, this is APPROVED (+6, 0, -0) after a week.
