We currently don't allow the metadata for an existing SAML SP to be updated. The only way to update the metadata is to delete an SP, then re-add it. This causes you to lose any policies and mappings you might have set at the SP level

This issue ticket was originally removed from the tracker as it clashed with the pull request.
