In #1444 I requested a static uid/gid for the xrootd user.
The issue was closed with status "accepted", which I interpret to mean that the request was approved. But there is no indication what the assigned uid/gid is or where it can be found.
Could you inform me what I should do next? The documentation doesn't list any additional steps between filing the request and using the assigned numbers.

The assignment of UIDs / GIDs themselves is done in the "setup" package:

I would file a Pull Request against setup to add them, referencing the approved ticket.

Something like the inverse of what was done here should do it:
