    Per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/GuidelinesAndPolicies#Stalled_EPEL_Requests I'd like to request access to build and publish smem for epel8. The relevant ticket is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1807276 . Thanks!

    We cannot get smem into EPEL


@dcavalca We cannot just assign anyone to any package, if you really want to maintain the package, please contact the maintainers and ask them to add you as an admin to the dist-git repo. If you wont receive a response from them, you can follow the unresponsive maintainer process https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers/ and take the ownership of the package.
