#10419 adopting rpms/python-nnpy
Closed: Get back later by humaton. Opened by trix.

  • Describe the issue
A new package for p4 language depends on python-nnpy
    https://github.com/trixirt/p4-bmv2-rpm
    For at least this
    https://github.com/p4lang/behavioral-model/blob/main/tools/nanomsg_client.py

Currently builds on rawhide x86_64
I can adopt it.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2021/12/03 - now.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
If p4 language support is not accepted.
I expect the package to be reviewed in q1 2022.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Remove the python scripts that use it from the %files in p4-bmv2
Expected tools to debug bmv2 will not be available.
