#10726 Bodhi updates for Fedora 36 have wrong karma limits
Closed: Fixed by humaton. Opened by churchyard.

  • Describe the issue

The policy states that Stable by Time (days) is minimum 7, default 7, after Beta Freeze. But it is still 3. Please update the times in Bodhi. Thanks.

If there is an SOP to update, so I don't have to open this ticket at every Beta, that would also be great.

  • When do you need this? now

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? After Fedora 36 GA.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? We don't follow our policies.

@humaton Can you update the SOP with updating https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/blob/main/f/vars/all/FedoraBranchedBodhi.yaml#_6 after post beta

This should be fixed now, waiting on the doc updates.

Updates SOP: https://docs.pagure.org/releng/sop_composing_fedora.html#bodhi-config

Thanks. The policy says the 7 days limit happens after the Beta freeze, not after the Beta release.

Hi @churchyard,
so you are saying we should switch those limits in here between pre_beta and post_beta?

It seems that we are not respecting the policy right now.

I do not understand the code, but yes, we are not respecting the policy.

On today's releng weekly, we decided to change our code and SOP to be run after freeze start so it is easier to be compliant with the policy.

So, do we need to update any docs here? Or just do this and close this?

We have updated our docs and ansible changes are also in. From now on we should be compatible with mentioned policy. Closing.

Apparently, this is still somewhat broken. I've opened https://pagure.io/releng/issue/11050
