package-notes 0.5-4 breaks builds of all Rust crates in Fedora 38, 37 (and most likely, ELN):

  • package-notes-0.5-4.fc38
  • package-notes-0.5-4.fc37
  • package-notes-0.5-4.eln121

Builds of all Rust packages fail with this error during linking:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open linker script file 1: No such file or directory

Hold on, this might have been resolved by an emergency rust-packaging update.

Ok, looks like the emergency update fixed the problem. Sorry for the false alarm :alarm_clock:
