Unaware that the F37 Final Freeze started to be in effect on Tuesday (since there doesn't seem to have been an official announcement email), I gleefully continued to retire unused / obsolete packages from the f37 branch, only to find out today that the final freeze has actually already "silently" gone into effect.

If at all possible, please complete the retirement of these packages, which are now all retired in the f37 dist-git branch, but not blocked from the f37 tag in koji. Some were actually retired before 14:00 UTC on Tuesday, so it looks like the deadline for retirements was actually earlier ...

  • rpms/rust-phf_generator0.7
  • rpms/rust-tokio-openssl0.4
  • rpms/rust-trust-dns-proto0.19
  • rpms/rust-cedarwood
  • rpms/rust-tokio-tls
  • rpms/rust-traitobject
  • rpms/elementary-sound-theme
  • rpms/elementary-theme
  • rpms/rust-enum-as-inner0.3
  • rpms/rust-phf_shared0.7
  • rpms/rust-socket2_0.3

All packages on this list are unused / obsolete leaf packages.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Fedora 37 GA, at which point I'm doomed to keep maintaining these useless packages for 6 more months.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

See previous point.

I thought it was sent but checking it is in a draft state in my inbox.

The packages are blocked now.
Can you please recheck and close the ticket if everything is in order?

Can confirm that the packages are gone from f37, thanks!
