#11078 Problem email matching Pagure-Bugzilla when requesting new repository
Closed: Fixed by fedepell. Opened by fedepell.

  • Describe the issue

I've just joined the packagers group and wanted to request a new repository for a package. But it seems that the match between the Bugzilla email and FES account always fails. Initially indeed my FES account was using a different email. Then I added the same as Bugzilla one (and "starred" it) but still nothing. Then I even tried to remove the other (non-Bugzilla) email but although it tells me it was correctly removed, I will see it again at next login.

So seemingly there is some trouble matching the FES email (maybe due to being two?) with Bugzilla one. As a consequence I cannot have the repository created.

I will attach the images of Bugzilla vs my FES account emails

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

No rush!

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

I'm afraid I cannot have a repository for the package(s) .

I just found that going via accounts.fedoraproject.org I could still see the old email. I aligned now there too. Will try once more a scm-request, hope it's fine this time :-)

hi @fedepell

Could you confirm if the issue persists?

It seems now after the alignment of all three of them things are fine and the repository was created!

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your support!
