#11172 BuildError: package libxml++ not in list for tag epel9-testing-candidate
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by robert. Opened by robert.

  • Describe the issue
Permissions to package libxml++ were granted via #11170, branching request happened via https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/49712 - however, building fails with "BuildError: package libxml++ not in list for tag epel9-testing-candidate", see e.g. https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=95056864 for a failed build. @carlgeorge suggested to report it here, because it might needs to be fixed by releng.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    ASAP :)

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    n/a

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
    n/a

@kevin let me know on IRC that "it's because it has ++ in it" and "fixed it manually". So thank you, closing hereby.

just for the record, it's either the koji-sync-listener script or the pagure api. When the sync-listener runs with a package with ++ in the name, it doesn't find it in pagure, so it doesn't add it to koji.

If you pass urlencoded ++ it works.
