#11174 Lenovo: F37 updated official respin iso for P1G5 and P16 G1 needed
Closed: Fixed by mpearson. Opened by mpearson.

  • Describe the issue
Unfortunately we found an issue with the last image where display hotplug was not working correctly with occasional black screens (BZ 2150003)
The good news is - we got lucky and the issue is already fixed in the latest update (kernel 6.0.11-300). Yay!

Could we get an updated official spin please that we can use based on this?

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    ASAP please

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
I would have to go and make arguments about the issue being low severity and fixable by online update - but it's so much easier to have a fixed image that we can preload fully functional. And it gives a better user experience :)

Yeah, so the next scheduled live respin is next week, so we're going to need to run an out-of-band compose. @jbwillia, could we do this for them?

Next week isn't bad given it's Thursday already...when did you have your respin planned for?

They are published every other Friday usually.

FYI, the respins SIG also has a Matrix room: #respins:fedoraproject.org

Ok - if we're able to get an image before then that would be great as it will get it signed off earlier, but if it's a pain we can wait for that.
I'm embarrassed to say it - but not tried matrix yet. Too many other chat methods already. I'll give it a go :)

You can easily get started with your Fedora account through https://chat.fedoraproject.org

Thanks @jbwillia !

F37-WORK-20221208 with CHECKSUM512-20221208 are located on https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/live-respins/

has the 6.0.11 kernel, it boots, it installs and passes the respins testing

You guys are amazing, Thank you! I'll get that to the QA team.
