#11336 Fedora 38 updates have 3 days limit, should be 7 days
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by churchyard.

  • Describe the issue

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fesco/Updates_Policy/#non-critpath-updates states that updates for branched are minimum 7, default 7 days in testing after Beta Freeze but they are in fact still minimum 3, default 3 today. Please update the limits to 7 and update the process so this does not happen with every release. Thank you.

  • When do you need this? whenever

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? after F38 GA, but this will be useful for F39, F40... even then.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Updates don't spend enough time in testing.

Fixed. We made all the right changes, but didn't run the openshift app playbook.

@humaton can you make sure we add to release docs to run the playbooks/openshift-apps/bodhi.yml playbook after we change the bodhi settings?
