In https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/55449, the releng-bot created https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pypy3.10/commits/f39 which has a completely different git history than https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/pypy3.10/commits/rawhide
This is ugly. Now I need to git merge both branches or keep f39 diverged forever.
I suppose we cannot remove that branch and start over? Anyway, opening this so the cause is tracked and this won't happen again.
When do you need this? ??
When is this no longer needed or useful? ??
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? Mess in git branches
I am mistaken. The branch was not diverged at all, it just had the first commit :/
Sorry about the noise.
