#11825 koji newRepo tasks frequently failing with "GenericError: Repo directory missing"
Closed: Fixed with Explanation by kevin. Opened by decathorpe.

  • Describe the issue

It appears that newRepo tasks in koji have started to fail frequently (as far as I can tell, about an hour or two ago):
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/tasks?state=failed&view=tree&method=newRepo&order=-id

The error messages look like this (with different tag names / numbers / architectures):

GenericError: Repo directory missing: /mnt/koji/repos/eln-build-side-78950/5654720/aarch64

It seems that kojira does not re-trigger failed newRepo tasks, so anything that uses the equivalent of "koji wait-repo" to wait for repository regeneration is currently stuck (like chain-builds).

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP - this issue appears to be blocking most or all side-tag and chain-builds in Fedora.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

:bomb:
