#11949 Unretire rpms/cros-guest-tools
Closed: Get back later by jnsamyak. Opened by kwizart.

  • Describe the issue
cros-guest-tools was unmaintained and have been retired, but the project is still active and relevant when using a fedora userspace on cros (aka ChromeOS VM for Linux userspace).

I maintain a copr repository that I update every now and then , but I have a daily usage of the result.

  • When do you need this?
    As possible

  • When is this no longer needed or useful?
    Still useful

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Missing cros linux userspace to chromeos users when switching from the default debian to fedora

Hi @kwizart !

As per the claiming of a retired package policy, since the package "rpms/cros-guest-tools" was retired for 8+ weeks, you now need to file a Bugzilla ticket for the same, once you have that and the review was done for the same, feel free to open another unretirement ticket!

Thanks

For more details, check: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Package_Retirement_Process/#claiming
