#11953 Bugzilla: There is no version named '40' in the 'Fedora' product.
Closed: Fixed by kevin. Opened by churchyard.

  • Describe the issue

Now when Fedora 40 was branched, I want to file bugzillas for F40FailsToInstall and use "40" as the version. However, Bugzilla does not let me. It says:

xmlrpc.client.Fault: <Fault 51: "There is no version named '40' in the 'Fedora' product.">

I don't know where to file this other than releng. Since the script I run is located in this repository, I decided to file this here. I'm happy to move this elsewhere, if you let me know where.

  • When do you need this? sooner the better. normally it is ready when Fedora is branched.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? When Fedora 40 goes EOL.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? The releng/scripts/ftbfs-fti tool cannot be updated to split Fedora 41/40.

Thanks.

I was just looking at this when you filed this.

Should be fixed. I am not sure if something was missed or just hadn't been gotten to yet.
