- Status code: 404 for https://download-cc-rdu01.fedoraproject.org/pub/centos-stream/10-stream/BaseOS/x86_64/os/repodata/repomd.xml (IP: 8.43.85.72) Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'baseos': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml:
That mirror is listed on the list of mirrors when I do
curl 'https://mirrors.centos.org/metalink?repo=centos-baseos-10-stream&arch=x86_64&protocol=https,http' -s
But if you go to it, it has no centos stuff at all. Only Fedora and EPEL mirrors.
Please remove download-cc-rdu01.fedoraproject.org from the list of centos mirrors.
download-cc-rdu01.fedoraproject.org
ticket probably for fedora-infrastructure instead of releng (imho)
fedora-infrastructure
releng
Interesting that it's not listed on https://mirrormanager.fedoraproject.org/mirrors/CentOS/10-stream, so shouldn't appear as "validated" in returned metalinks (that mirrormanager would not be able to find as they go 404) But otoh it's listed on https://mirrormanager.fedoraproject.org/mirrors , as carrying the CentOS category
CentOS
Action taken : while not part of Fedora infra team, I have access to add/remove the CentOS category on a host/mirror and as there was no Stream content at all at registered address, I just remove the category
This host took 0s to scan, it's suspicious. Was it set as always up-to-date in the database for this category maybe?
it can be .. at least, I tried from same subnet and it's not returned anymore, since I removed the CentOS category. @tdawson : can you confirm too ?
Sorry for opening this in the wrong place. Yes, I can confirm that download-cc-rdu01.fedoraproject.org is no longer listed in the stream-10 mirror list. I have also confirmed that all of the servers that are listed have the stream-10 repos. So this can be closed.
