#12329 orphan 'php-psr-http-client' not possible, throws database error
Closed: Fixed by jnsamyak. Opened by wombelix.

  • Describe the issue
I try to orphan https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/php-psr-http-client but get the following error when selecting a reason and click on update:
Unable to orphan the package: An error occurred at the database level and prevent the action from reaching completion

I was able to orphan other packages without an issue, therefore I assume this is specific to this individual one. Maybe because it was un-retired at some point.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
Whenever someone has time to work on

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    n/a

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Package would stick with me even though I'm not interested anymore in maintaining it.

@wombelix, I can try what do you want me to select in Reason?

I don't use the package anymore.

Okay there seems like a not proper unretirement process something was not right when it happened, I; 'm reading if this has happened before and indeed it has; Also, changing the reason didn't help so the UI interface is not working, I will have to check the API tho :D

@kevin @humaton, was there a decided fix to this in the past? I see the older issues still open so wanted to discuss this!

This issue is fixed, and hence I'm closing this, I made the rpm user orphan with the correct reason!

Thanks, but I'm still listed as bugzilla owner, can that be adjusted too
please?

I reset the bugzilla assignments to default (which set them to orphan)
