#12430 Stalled EPEL packages: armadillo and libgta
Closed: Fixed by jnsamyak. Opened by tdawson.

  • Describe the issue
armadillo and libgta are stalled EPEL packages.
Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - I have contacted the maintainers, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time.
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2318736
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2318741
I am requesting tdawson be given commit permissions for each so that I might branch and build these packages in epel10.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2024/11/01

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
Each of these packages are non-optional build requirements for other packages in epel10. Ultimately, these are preventing critical packages in KDE from being built. (qt6-qtwebengine)

libgta just replied. It is not stalled anymore. There is no need to give me commit access to libgta.

Okay done for the armadillo package!
