Looking at the file, these are from the need-rebuild but didn't failed, some reported ambiguities in the file, but mostly others looks ok to block in f43 from koji to me; I'll look into it if I can come up with a way to get this list myself

Note that we don't just want to block them, but run 'fedpkg retire' in them to explain why they were retired.
(and actually that should block them too anyhow).

But I do see some on the list that don't seem right.

For all packages that are in updated needs-rebuild but NOT in failed and NOT excluded by the mass rebuild script (shim / freeipa)
Put in list 'no spec' ones that don't have a .spec file
Put in list 'fails prep' ones that have a spec, but fail 'make prep'
Put in list 'never officially built' ones that have a spec and work with prep, but never officially built

Then we can post the list(s) to devel list / discussion and ask maintainers if they see anything amiss, then we can 'fedpkg retire' all the ones left?

The ones with 'Fedora-[azAZ]' should be excluded. There's some that we could block I guess, but in general those are for images/compose stuff.

I think we should put together an email / discussion thread with these lists now and see if anyone sees any issues... then we should sould retire/block them.

Heads-up: Retiring repos with uninitialized rawhide branches (Releng #12629)

Hi all,

Per FESCo guidance and Releng #12629, we plan to retire package repos where the rawhide branch has remained uninitialized (no spec/content) for >30 days after creation.

Action for maintainers:

•   Check the candidate list in the ticket: https://pagure.io/releng/issue/12629
•   If your repo is listed in error or you need brief grace, reply on the ticket with context.
•   To keep a repo, push initial content to rawhide (at minimum: .spec + required files) and note that on the ticket.

Plan:

•   After the reply-by date (September 18), we’ll proceed with fedpkg retire for remaining candidates, including a clear reason in the commit message.
