#12724 Stalled EPEL packages: xdpyinfo, libXxf86dga and libdmx
Closed: Fixed by jnsamyak. Opened by tdawson.

  • Describe the issue
xdpyinfo, libXxf86dga and libdmx are stalled EPEL packages.
Per the EPEL stalled package policy - https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-policy/#stalled_epel_requests - I have contacted the maintainers, twice, and waited the appropriate amount of time.

    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2344690
    https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2344691
I am requesting tdawson be given commit permissions for each so that I might branch and build these packages in epel10.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    2025/05/07

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)
    N/A

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?
xdpyinfo is a runtime dependency of kinfocenter. libXxf86dga and libdmx are build dependencies of xdpyinfo.
xdpyinfo is still useful for X-Wayland and so we would like it in epel10 rather than take it out of kinfocenter and other packages.
