#13038 Please update f43-image-builder target to use an appropriate Destination Tag.
Opened by pwhalen. Modified

  • Describe the issue

Attempting to build images in F43 IoT is failing with the error: ActionNotAllowed: tag is locked

This is due to the f43-image-builder using the Destination Tag F43 - which is now locked.

In the past we used -updates-candidate - as seen here

Note that this should also be part of the "after release" SOP to edit the fXX-image-builder target to have it's destination tag set to fXX-updates-candidate.

This is mostly due to Fedora IoT building nightly images of the stable branch as well, which other spins don't do. Hence when the fXX tag gets locked, the target needs to be updated after release time :)

 koji list-targets | grep "f43-image-builder"
f43-image-builder f43-image-builder-build f43-updates-candidate

Looks like this should block you immediately, but I'll keep it open to have a note written for this in documentation.
