#13061 Final Migration of Fedora Release Engineering Issues + Sister Repositories to Forgejo (RelEng)
Opened by jnsamyak. Modified

  • Describe the issue

With the completion of the Fedora 43 Final Release, we are now ready to move forward with the final migration of the Fedora Release Engineering (RelEng) repositories to the new Forgejo instance under the new structure.
This includes migrating the main RelEng repository, its issue tracker, and associated sub-repositories that are part of the Fedora Release Engineering infrastructure.

This migration is planned for November 18, 2025, two weeks from now.

Background:

As part of the broader Fedora Infrastructure effort to move from Pagure to Forgejo, the Release Engineering (RelEng) repository has already been mirrored to Forgejo with the new structure.

Reference: Issue #12931

The next step is to:

  • Migrate the issue tracker from Pagure to a new Forgejo repository named tickets.
  • Update all community documentation, communications, and references to point to the new location.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for contributors and maintainers by closing the loop on older references and repositories.
