It doesn't really exist in EPEL; the current EPEL package is just a stub that depends on python-matplotlib. The Fedora package will be a completely different thing. There shouldn't be any conflict between them.

@churchyard python2-matplotlib is unretired for master.

@mohanboddu is it possible that @tibbs was removed as a maintainer during this? is that a bug in some script or procedure?

Oh, I see. I had no idea that that would remove all the existing maintainers. Thanks for clarification.

@churchyard Well, it wouldn't remove all the existing maintainers. It will make you as the main admin.

Its useful when there is a unresponsive maintainer or main admin orphans it.
