#7848 fedpkg retire on modules doesn't remove them from anywhere
Closed: Get back later by syeghiay. Opened by ignatenkobrain.

Describe the issue

I've ran fedpkg retire on stratis/master, but module didn't disappear neither from f29 nor from rawhide.

It would be nice if it would be removed since it is unsupported ;)

When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Ideally before F29 final freeze because then it would be shipped to users.

When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

I think it will be useful always.

If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

Unsupported RPMs will be shipped to users.

@ignatenkobrain This is a known issue and we are working towards it. We enabled blocking of building modules that are eol'd and then reverted it back.

@mohanboddu reports that this is a manual process for now.

@syeghiay Can we at least get fedpkg retire patched to open a releng ticket to perform the manual process? It's too easy right now for things to get left unaddressed.

I'd also like some sort of expected SLA for that manual process to be completed (even if it's just "we'll do it before the next Freeze begins").
