Hi Guys,
I recently tried to run a scratch build of the annobin package from the epel7 branch but the PowerPC build failed due to lots of missing dependencies:
https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=34697396
For example:
DEBUG util.py:583: BUILDSTDERR: Error: Package: perl-Getopt-Long-2.40-3.el7.noarch (build) DEBUG util.py:583: BUILDSTDERR: Requires: perl(Text::ParseWords) DEBUG util.py:583: BUILDSTDERR: Error: Package: gcc-c++-4.8.5-36.el7_6.2.ppc64 (build) DEBUG util.py:583: BUILDSTDERR: Requires: libmpfr.so.4()(64bit)
and so on. Has something happened to the RHEL-7 PowePC buildroot ?
This is not an urgent matter for me, as epel7 already has a nearly up-to-date version of the annobin package built, but it may well affect other epel7 package maintainers who will probably not be happy about it.
Cheers Nick Clifton
