RHEL-7 did not ship Aarch64 for RHEL-7.7. While it was hoped we could use a z-stream or other fixes to make this work, it looks like there are fundamental upgrades in RHEL-7.7 which means we can not build aarch64 packages anymore in Fedora-EPEL.

Needs to be scheduled and figured out steps.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

Builds will continue to fail in EPEL because rpm and other utilities had various changes.

Steps for completion:

  1. Archive EPEL-7.7 aarch64 over to pub/archive/epel/7/aarch64
  2. Remove aarch64 as a target for EPEL-7 in koji
  3. Other changes in associated tools
  4. ???
