In these two tickets https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/16189 and https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/16191 new epel8 branches were created. These packages have never existed in EPEL before. I cannot find the components in Bugzilla in "Fedora EPEL" product. It seems your script for creating epel branches does not create components in Bugzilla.

Please create "perl-Convert-ASN1" and "perl-LDAP" components in "Fedora EPEL" product in Bugzilla.

I see them now... how long after the branch was processed did you check? There could be a bit of delay...

Indeed. Now they are there.

The dist-git branch existed at 13:41:45 UTC, I checked the Bugzilla component many times and also just before filing this ticket. That was 06:20:45 UTC next day. So the delay was at least 16 hours.

We have re-written this script and are running it every 8 hours now I think.
