The python-ipaddress is orphaned (as announced in https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel-announce@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/GVWFSNWQVTCY3JUBHIOMQ3JCS4HN7SIS/)
When do you need this? (2019/12/12) As soon as possible as I am trying to get everything the Ceph project needs to be able to support Python3, and this package is one of the last ones blocking that effort.
When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD) N/A
If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact? The Ceph project will not have a way to move forwards full Python3 compatibility
I am going to go ahead and close this, it seems that the reason why python3-ipaddress doesn't exist is because it became part of Python's sdlib and this wouldn't be needed for a Python3-exclusive package of Ceph.
