#9176 virt-v2v has wrong dist tag
Closed: Get back later by kevin. Opened by rjones.

  • Describe the issue

Go into the virt-v2v dist-git directory (master branch) and type fedpkg verrel:

$ fedpkg verrel
virt-v2v-1.41.8-8.fc22

That should definitely say .fc31 not .fc22.

Weird. :)

So, was this package retired and only recently brought back?

I see that it has branches until f21, then nothing until master:

  • master
    remotes/origin/HEAD -> origin/master
    remotes/origin/el5
    remotes/origin/f11
    remotes/origin/f12
    remotes/origin/f13
    remotes/origin/f14
    remotes/origin/f15
    remotes/origin/f16
    remotes/origin/f17
    remotes/origin/f18
    remotes/origin/f19
    remotes/origin/f20
    remotes/origin/f21
    remotes/origin/master

So, fedpkg must be keying off that.

Would you be willing to refile this against fedpkg? https://pagure.io/fedpkg/ ?

I am not sure if there's a way to fix this case easily tho.
