#9444 Retiring of packages does not happen (deepin-help)
Closed: Fixed by mohanboddu. Opened by ignatenkobrain.

  • Describe the issue

https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/deepin-help/c/f856afa5c55adb56d225f56231a71a41fa0f143e?branch=master was pushed 21 hours as of this moment, but in koji it is still not blocked.

  • When do you need this? (YYYY/MM/DD)

ASAP.

  • When is this no longer needed or useful? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Until somebody unretires it.

  • If we cannot complete your request, what is the impact?

We are shipping dead packages.

Neither it worked here: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/php-zendframework/c/289ceeadad56c51d91b0b359f3d8972a437afb33?branch=master

I also retired two packages today, neither of them are blocked in koji yet:

  • glassfish-annotation-api
  • glassfish-dtd-parser

blocking in koji happens at the beginning of the rawhide compose (starting at 05:15UTC each day).

I see the depin-help one is done, php-zendframework is done, the ones you just did will be done tonight.

Is threre some need for this to happen faster?

Oh, I did not know that blocking retired packages was tied to composes. Thanks for the clarification, and there's no hurry, no

All the packages that are mentioned in this ticket are blocked except for php-zendframework for which the pdc didn't get updated with the retirement date (probably the message was lost or something), I updated it manually and it should be blocked in the next compose run.
