#9674 Create an ansible playbook to do the mass-branching

Currently the mass-branching is a lot of small/manual steps (cf https://docs.pagure.org/releng/sop_mass_branching.html ) that could benefit from being converted to an ansible playbook.

We should look into this.

It would also help with the question of ACLs as via rbac-playbook more people could then do this operation.

Next mass-branching? (ie ~6 months)

Hey @jnsamyak! Is this something you are planning on getting to in the next ~3-4 weeks or could this be unassigned until we believe we have the capacity to do this work?

Hey @smilner, apologies I didn't see this earlier! I am not sure if this could be done in the next 3-4 weeks, it's not as simple and needs some investigation needs to break it up into smaller pieces and start working on those smaller items, I was busy with release and post-cleanup atm apart from the ops tickets so yes!

But if someone wants to chime in for help or work on this, I'm happy to collaborate with them!
